About The Space
Prydwen is a modern guest house located on the grounds of Dragon's Gate Brewery & Farm. Dragon’s Gate Brewery specializes in Belgian Farmhouse Ales and is home to Friesian & Warlander horses.
Prydwen is named after King Arthur's shield and the lore of King Arthur can be found throughout the guest house. While the size of Prydwen is cozy, the large windows and natural wood interior lend to a warm and inviting setting.
Prydwen has its own private seating area where you can relax and enjoy the views of the farm, the Blue Mountains, and surrounding vineyards and orchards.
For the beer lover, Prydwen is just steps away from our brewery and tasting room. As we are only open a few days a week, arrangements can be made for growler fills to enjoy upon check-in. Dragon’s Gate Farm is centrally located in the Walla Walla Valley which provides a good starting point to explore the numerous wineries located in Oregon and Washington.
Prydwen has a private bedroom with a walk-around queen-size pillow-top bed with premium cotton sheets, pillows, and a down comforter. The bedroom has blackout shades and a fan to ensure you get the most restful night's sleep. There is a 36” inch smart television for viewing all of your favorite streaming options. High-speed WI-FI internet is available for your media options and cell phone service is good.
Prydwen is equipped with a kitchenette for light cooking. It’s great for cooking eggs, enjoying coffee in the morning, chopping up veggies for a salad, or heating up a pot of soup or spaghetti. A two-burner induction cooktop comes with pots, fry pans, and utensils. There is a microwave oven, toaster, and a small refrigerator/freezer. The pantry is equipped with a basic complement of herbs and spices, sugar, and oil. An electric kettle and a Keurig coffee maker are available with complimentary coffee pods and tea.
Prydwen has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a real toilet. Plush bathroom towels, hand towels, and washcloths are provided for a two-night stay. “Beekman 1802” shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided for a refreshing shower.
Prydwen is a guest house and has a maximum occupancy of two people. While we love animals, pets (of any kind) are not allowed at Prydwen. This is for the safety of our farm animals and any future guests.
Guest Access
Prydwen is located on a 10-acre farm and brewery. Access to the farm is via a short gravel road that may become muddy during the snow and rainy season. Once at the farm, private parking is located behind the brewery and is graveled and well-lit. Prydwen is located just a short walk from your car through the beer garden. We can accommodate parking for large vehicles and RVs. We do not have an EV charging station, but a 110v plug is available. A small cart is available for luggage. Guests will have access to your own private patio as well as the beer garden, gazebo, and grounds.
Prydwen is located 20 minutes from the Walla Walla Airport, 15 minutes from downtown Walla Walla, and 1 hour from the Tri-Cities, Washington.
Check-in is 3:00pm and Check-out is 11:00am
Other Things to Note
Prydwen is a working farm/brewery and we live on the premises. There are Friesian horses and working cats on the 10-acre property that you may see during your stay. Jennifer, your host, brewer, horse trainer, and tour guide is available to answer any questions and will greet you upon arrival and ensure your stay is enjoyable and memorable.
